Something New to Blame it on?

Hum!? Apparently I might have something else to blame my "funk" on!

According to this maybe it's just because of where I live! I don't fully believe that. I believe that you can create your own happiness and that you can also create your own sadness. Every day there is a choice to be made. Sit and wallow or get up and rejoice... even if it is after your first cup of coffee. Also, in case you're curious... right now it's sunny, I can see large patches of blue sky and no, it's not raining!

Oh yah, and I totally cannot imagine living anywhere else. Interestingly enough, PDX was also on the list (I recall it being #1) for best places in the US to raise a family. Go figure!

I personally like the rain and I think that Portland is a great city :)

Of course, I'm in Alaska now and I see snow instead of rain for about 8 months out of the year.

What I wouldn't give to hear and smell the rain right now....

I know!!! I saw that too and I thought WTF?! I love POrtland more than anywhere I have ever lived and I am from Northern California and lived in SoCal for a few years. Well let "them" keep bashing Portland it keeps it a "secret" that only Portlanders can enjoy.

I hope that you are able to get out of your "funk" soon, but even if it sticks around for a while, know that I am thinking of you and your beautiful family.

Yep. I'm with you guys. Portland is my all time favorite city that I've lived in. It tops Shelton/Olympia, L.A., Phoenix, and Philadelphia. Love my Portland. I would move back there in a second if God would let me! :)

I grew up in Portland (don't live there now, but Seattle is close enough!) and I was always perfectly happy. So were the people around me...
